Adult Social Worker - Safeguarding

This position offers a competitive rate of £28.40 per hour and provides an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in safeguarding individuals at risk and ensuring their welfare in accordance with legislation and best practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments of adults at risk, identifying their needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
• Providing support and guidance to individuals and their families, facilitating access to appropriate services.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
• Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding investigations and inquiries.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
