Job Description
Job Summary:
This is an important role at the front line of the practice, helping patients access the right care at the right time. You will be the first point of contact for patients, both on the telephone and at reception, supporting them to access appropriate services and ensuring they are directed to the most suitable clinician or service. You will play a key role in helping to manage patient flow through the practice and ensuring appointments and requests are handled efficiently. The role involves handling a high volume of patient contact, dealing with a wide range of queries, and supporting patients in a calm, professional, and empathetic manner. You will need to be confident using computer systems, following processes, and working accurately in a busy environment.
Good communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. You will be part of a supportive reception and administrative team, working closely with clinicians and other staff to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care.
