Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

The Designated Deputy Safeguarding Lead will support the academy in ensuring safeguarding and child protection practices are implemented in line with statutory requirements. The postholder will support the development and delivery of safeguarding policies, guidance, training and procedures, whilst working closely with academy leaders, staff, external agencies, parents/carers and students to promote a strong culture of safeguarding. The role includes supporting safeguarding case management, providing advice and guidance to staff, contributing to safeguarding training, monitoring vulnerable students, and maintaining accurate safeguarding records and reporting processes.
