Multi-Agency Safeguarding Nurses play a pivotal role in protecting children, young people and families. Working alongside social care, police and education, you will contribute to safeguarding discussions and decision-making by identifying, collating, interpreting and appropriately sharing relevant health information to support the assessment of notifications and referrals--helping to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and their families.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work within a multi-agency integrated team supporting Shropshire Local Authority (Compass) and Telford & Wrekin Local Authority (Family Connect) gathering, collating and appropriately sharing health information to assist the assessment of notifications and referrals, regarding children aged 0-18, that are received by Compass and Family Connect to ensure best outcomes for children and their families
