Job Summary:

Wandsworth is looking for a Recovery Worker to join their safeguarding pathway to provide high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. The team is recruiting a dedicated Recovery Worker with a special interest in child safeguarding. You'll support individuals and families affected by substance misuse, ensuring children's safety is central to recovery planning. This role involves delivering trauma-informed, psychosocial interventions and working closely with multi-agency partners to uphold safeguarding standards.
We Are With You is looking for someone with safeguarding experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for protecting vulnerable children. You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team who will support you in your development and your ability to deliver the best care you can to clients. Skills/Experience Required:
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have some experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting
- Have some experience of delivering services in a community setting
- Have knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence-based interventions
- Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- Be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work
- Able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion and be happy to support other With You locations when needed
- Ideally you will also have previous experience of working or volunteering with people who misuse substances.
