What you’ll be doing
Join the House of Commons as our Safeguarding Operations Manager where you will play a pivotal role in protecting children and adults at risk across UK Parliament.
At the heart of the bicameral Safeguarding Team, you will lead the day-to-day management of complex safeguarding casework, working closely with statutory partners and providing expert advice and professional judgement.
You will also drive the development of Parliament’s Safeguarding Practitioner Network, deliver training, and lead key projects to embed consistent, high-quality safeguarding standards across both Houses and Joint Departments. Working alongside senior leaders and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will help shape a forward-thinking safeguarding service and make a meaningful, lasting impact.
This is a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen safeguarding practice within one of the UK’s most high-profile and distinctive workplaces, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone who comes into contact with Parliament.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of you spending 40% of your time in the office.
